PNO Consultants B.V. is a limited private company and part of the grants consultancy group PNO Group B.V. PNO has over 20 years history managing multi-nation EU technology projects, development of strategic (technology development) projects with a European dimension, development of R&D projects together with industry and universities, project management, RTD projects in Fp 4,5,6 and 7. Dr. Tjerk Wardenaar is an innovation and funding consultant of PNO’s Energy & Environment team with a special focus on water technology, climate action, and integral sustainability projects (e.g. industrial ecology, circular economy).  Tjerk has a multidisciplinary background, i.e. Industrial Ecology (MSc), Philosophy (MA, BA) and Political Sciences (BA). After working as an environmental researcher for Leiden University, Tjerk joined the Rathenau Instituut in 2010. For this policy advisory organization, he conducted research on the organization of large-scale climate programmes. In 2015, Tjerk obtained his PhD after publication of his thesis “Organizing Collaborative Research: The dynamics and long-term effects of multi-actor research programs”.  Since 2014, Tjerk works for the PNO Energy & Environment team. Tjerk’s main expertises are project development and management, cost benefit analysis (CBA), stakeholder analysis, business case development and life cycle assessment (LCA). In addition, Tjerk has extensive experience with funding consultancy, especially European public funding and Dutch public funding. Tjerk is the project coordinator of the Horizon 2020-project NEW_InnoNet.

Diana Hresko, MSc is a senior compliance advisor at PNO. She holds a degree in Geography (MSc), in European Studies (MA), and she obtained a Prince2 certificate in project management. She has been involved in a wide range of European projects for 14 years contributing to the implementation of more than 100 EU funded projects. She was a project officer at the University of Debrecen, Hungary. Since 2009 she has been working for PNO providing compliance and project management services for different EU funded projects and manage resources, budget planning as well as grant agreement negotiations (FP6, FP7, JTIs, IEE, Life+, Eco-innovation, LLP, Horizon 2020 etc.) in public and commercial environment. She has been a non-technical project coordinator in several EU funded projects and acquired extensive experience in setting up the full project monitoring, tools and in reporting, audit, performing assessment, financial, operational, ethical aspects of project management as well as in communication across cultures.

Msc. Dieuwke Martens-Bakker: Graduated in 2003 with a degree in Business Administration at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen (Netherlands). She received a certificate for Environmental Economics at the University of Budapest (Hungary) in 2000.
In 2003 she started at Essent as a financial quality advisor. From 2004 she advised energy companies with business development processes focussed on biomass generation. Since 2006 she is working for PNO Consultants for mainly energy related clients and projects as senior consultant finance and innovation services. Her field of expertise is (a.o.) system enabling technologies, such as hydrogen and gas, and smart grids.
Dieuwke Martnes-Bakker developed several strategic (technology development) projects with a European dimension, development of R&D projects together with industry and universities. She has been involved in the development of more than 100 successful (EU) projects, including several research, innovation, demonstration and networking projects in the field of Energy, Environment and Sustainability.
She is currently Senior Consultant and Account Manager for the Dutch Energy Industry and active participant of the Innovation Working Group of Dutch Power.
